Just Checking Carer
To Buy
A Just Checking Carer system, designed for use in a single household, monitored by a relative or carer costs £590.00 for the equipment, plus a monthly web-service subscription of £30.33 (equivalent to £7 a week). You can pay the web-service annually if you prefer. The cost is £310.
To Rent
The Just Checking Carer system can be rented for £16.50 a week (this includes the web-service subscription), payable monthly in advance. There is a deposit of £100.00, refundable when the equipment is returned. The minimum rental period is 3 months, although if there is a major change in circumstances we will be sympathetic.
- Additional movement sensor ≡ 90p a week
- Additional door sensor ≡ £1.20 a week
VAT
The cost of the Just Checking equipment and service is exempt of VAT for those who are chronically sick or disabled. Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia are included in this definition.

For a single system, the costs are: equipment is £688, annual web-service £492
Assuming a minimum 3 year life for a system, the annual cost of a system is £721.00 or just under £14.00 a week, equivalent to an hour of homecare.
