Just Checking Professional
Just Checking Professional is used for assessment, and planning care services. It is designed to be moved among service users and is quick and simple to install by any member of a community social care/mental health team.
Equipment
The Professional kit includes 5 movement sensors, 2 door sensors and the controller which receives data from the sensors and uploads it to a web-server via an integral mobile phone unit. The controller is plugged in to a mains power socket. The equipment is completely independent of a service user’s telephone line. Data is uploaded every 5 minutes so the system is virtually real time. Sensors are radio based and require no wiring. Sensors are installed with supplied Velcro pads. Extra sensors can be added to the Professional system. The equipment is supplied in a robust carry case.
Web-service
The web-service provides password protected access to the activity charts and the features to manage the change of users. It retains all the historical data for each service user and provides statistical information about when the equipment was used and who with. All mobile call charges are included in the annual web-service subscription. A battery replacement pack is provided each year.
